Administrator
Jeff Russell, LNHA
Jeff Russell has been the Administrator at Alden Poplar Creek since July 2009. He previously served as Assistant Administrator of the rehabilitation and health care center as well as Administrator of Alden Estates of Naperville. Jeff joined Alden in 2000 as
the Medicaid Reimbursement Manager after working for the Illinois Department of Public Aid. His career also includes service in the United States Army, 82 Airborne Division. He received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Southern Illinois University. Jeff is a licensed nursing home administrator.
Director of Nursing
Nelia Tinio, RN
Nelia Tinio, RN, came to Alden Poplar Creek as the Director of Nursing in January 2009. Nelia has worked in long-term care for nearly 40 years and has previously served as a Director of Nursing as well as a Corporate Nurse Consultant.
Admission Director
Carol Magpayo
Carol Magpayo joined Alden Poplar Creek as Admission Director in December 2009. Her main goal is to assist current residents as well as prospective residents and their families to ensure a smooth transition to the rehabilitation center either from home or from the hospital setting. Carol also works closely with physicians and caseworkers to coordinate resident transfers. Carol has a bachelor’s degree in Biology from the University of the Philippines, Manila, Philippines.
